The Big Snow of 2011

After reading your blogs and seeing pictures of the snow storms in the south and back east, I just had to show everyone what a Redding, California "snow storm" (if you could even call it a storm) looks like. The headline at today reads, "North state endures heaviest snowfall in 8 years".

So, here's the pictures of our "snow storm":

I worked all day Thursday, and much to my disappointment, it did not snow one little tiny flake in Anderson. I love to watch the snow coming down. But, it was a beautiful sight to come home to last night after work.

It amazes me that snow can make an "ugly" side yard full of car parts beautiful. Loved this picture:

It reminded me that the Lord can take the "ugliness" in my life and make it beautiful!

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18
