I took this picture yesterday (August 19, 2013). It was Lyle's first day of school at Shasta College. Every single year, since my kids started Kindergarten, I have taken a picture of them by the front door on the first day of school.
After I took the picture, I realized it will be the last "first day of school" picture I take. Next year, Lyle (and Hilary too!) will be away at a University, and I won't be there for the first day of school.
My children have grown up way too fast!!!
