Prayer Requests

I cannot stop thinking about the massive earthquake and devastating tsunami that followed in Japan. Watching the news is overwhelming! These kind of tragedies leave me without words. Several times throughout today I have stopped and prayed for the people of Japan. My heart is broken for the people there, and my prayers are with them.

My heart is also broken for my cousin Bernadean and her husband, Chad. Tonight we learned that their sweet Ashley (Hilary's age) is in Mercy Hospital in critical condition. Yesterday, as she was taking her garbage to the dumpster at her apartment complex, she collapsed. The neighbor happened to see her, called 911 and got help. She had no pulse and was not breathing. Someone performed CPR until the paramedics arrived. They had to use the paddles twice to start her heart beating again. I am sooooooo thankful she was not in her apartment (she lives alone) when she collapsed. It appears she had a very serious heart attack. Chad and Bernadean will be meeting with the heart surgeon tomorrow morning. If you think about it, would you please pray for our Ashley girl? Thank you!!!
