No Camping For Me!

Satan, people, circumstances, or life in general can sometimes lead me to Discouragement Camp. When I find myself there, I can choose to stay or leave.

Today I will not pay a "day use fee"...

Nor will I pitch my tent in Discouragement Camp...

NOPE, no camping for me today!! With God's help, I'll walk through that campground and LEAVE!

Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. Philippians 4:8-9 (The Message)

  1. YES! Have a wonderful day. I thought about you today:
"I really should have worn a coat to work today, REALLY!"

  2. I heard R.C. Sproul, say the other day that when he would tell his Mom about something hurtful someone would say about him when he was growing up, she would say, consider the source. I thought that was good advice. Good for you to decide to not "camp there". You are very much respected and loved by, Jill
